AFP International Scholar, Dr. Stephen Ingle’s October visit to the Tbilisi State University Division of Political Sciences became a topic of the story published in the University newspaper, Tbilisi University, November 29 issue No 20 (2065). The story explains the purpose of Dr. Ingle’s visit and provides the background of his cooperation with the Division. Description of AFP, its activities and current processes is included and special emphasis made on AFP contribution do the development of Higher Education in the region through the example of Division of Political Sciences. Ongoing academic reforms taking place in the Division through AFP support are described and positive assessments of these processes and AFP work in general by local professor Malkhaz Mikaberidze and Dr. Ingle are provided.
