Estonians and Georgian internally displaced young people visit the Foundation’s office

On November 5, The Foundation’s office hosted young people from Estonia and Tskhinvali IDPs within the framework of current project “Voice of the youth” of “Partnership without borders”.

On November 5, The Foundation’s office hosted young people from Estonia and Tskhinvali IDPs within the framework of current project “Voice of the youth” of program “Partnership without borders”.

The Foundation’s Executive Director, Qeti Khutsishvili greeted the guests and introduced them to the Foundation’s activities. The young people shared their experience and activities with the Foundation’s representative and addressed her specific questions. At the end of the meeting Estonian pupils sang Georgian song “Beautiful Georgia” for the Foundation as a proof that similar initiatives will promote development and strengthening of multifaceted relationships among young generations.

Estonian young people represented pupils’ self-governance of school in Kolga who arrived to Georgia with the purpose of meeting Gori pupils’ self-governances and sharing their experiences. In spring pupils from Gori were on similar visit to Estonia. They were introduced to activities of Estonian pupils’ self-governance, their action plan, participation of the school’s administration in various events, making young people more active through competitions, learning project development and creation of joint students’ web-page: gorikolda.wordpress.com.

“Partnership without borders” is implemented in terms of the program “East – East”.
