On December 13th, a new documentary “Unprotected Property Rights in Georgia” was presented in the bookstore Ligamus.
The film depicts stories of citizens from various regions of Georgia, who were threatened and forced by the representatives of Government to transfer, relinquish as a gift or otherwise give their property to the state.
The movie consists of difference stories concerning property rights violations in Georgia obtained by Transparency International Georgia. All of the cases presented in the movie were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office and the circumstances of some of them are being currently investigated.
