New Publication CSO Financial Sustainability Mechanisms now available

In frames of the in-house project NGO Sustainability Initiative new publication CSO Financial Sustainability Mechanisms was published in June 2010. Implemented by the OSGF’s Civil Society Support Program in cooperation with the East-East Network Program the NGO Sustainability Initiative had several components: study tour to the Czech Republic and Slovakia for 15 Georgian participants in January 2010; April and May conferences on sustainability issues in Tbilisi which featured more than 80 leaders of CSOs from Georgia, Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia and Czech Republic.

This publication is a concluding component of the above mentioned initiative. It consists of different articles prepared by Georgian and Eastern European experts and is foreseen for representatives of developed as well as newly established CSOs. Authors of the articles address problems and challenges encountered by the NGOs in different countries and offer possible ways of solution. Articles focus on  issues like fundraising, social entrepreneurship, volunteerism, enabling environment for philanthropy, state funding mechanisms and development of organizational capacity.  

The publication will be distributed free of charge to the representatives of the civil society in Georgia. Soft copy of the publication can be downloaded here. (Publication is available in Georgian language)
