The Open Society Georgia Foundation has translated and published ‘An Advocacy Handbook for Civil Society: Understanding and Influencing EU Policymaking’ in Georgian language. The publication has been prepared with the support of the Local Government and Public Service Reform Initiative (LGI) of Open Society Foundations.
The publication describes main issues related to organization of the EU institutions and their role in the decision-making process. It also provides an overview of the legislative procedures, policymaking processes, influence and power of advocacy efforts and their possible outcomes.
The aim of the above publication is to support civil society organizations in their work with the EU institutions.
