“Georgia’s civil organizations and the Georgian Parliament are creating a new tradition of cooperation. To be specific, the Parliament will celebrate Civil Organizations’ Day on an annual basis. The event will provide an opportunity for closer dialogue between civil organizations and the Parliament.
On this special day civil organizations and parliamentarians will have the opportunity to discuss an array of important problems and tasks faced by the country as well as public policy directions.
The first Civil Organizations’ Day is to be inaugurated on 12 December from 1-4 p.m. in the Parliament building in Kutaisi, Georgia. A memorandum of cooperation between civil organizations and the Parliament of Georgia will be signed during the event.”
