On February 17, at 2 p.m. non-governmental and media organizations submitted to Parliament a petition and legislative proposal calling for changing election-related legislation.
At the same time, the organizations held a protest rally in front of the Parliament building. The rally was joined by ordinary citizens as well. The organizations and citizens voiced their protests against the current legislation in different ways.
The process of signing the petition is still under way. As of today, the petition has more than 400 signatories, including around 260 electronic ones: www.petitions24.org/esshengexeba.
