Political Parties Continue Presenting their Economic Programs

On May 21 series of presentations of economic programs by political parties were launched in the framework of the Economic Policy Research Center project “Organizing thematic debates for the development of political parties and transparency of local elections”.

The aim of the project “Organizing thematic debates for the development of political parties and transparency of local elections” is to assist political parties in creating economic vision, provide them with the opportunity of holding free debates before the elections and organize debates on economic and social topics.

During a week political parties “National Council”, “Alliance for Georgia”, “Tortladze- Democratic Party”,”Topadze-Industrialists” and “The National Movement” were granted an opportunity of presenting their vision of the economic structure of self-government and problems existing in this area to the representatives of media and relevant experts.

Upon completion of the project the brochure covering all of the economic programs presented by the political parties will be published and disseminate among embassies accredited in Georgia, international and non-governmental organizations.

The project is funded by the “Open Society Georgia Foundation”.
