The presentation of the publication – “Georgia’s State Budget monitoring” will be held on May 14, 2010 at 15:00 PM in the “Open Society Georgia Foundation” office (10 Chovelidze Street).
The Center for Economic Problems Research, with the assistance from OSGF, has been working on the project “Increasing the transparency and accountability of Georgia’s state budget for 2009 by means of monitoring” since August, 2009.
The publication includes the results of the research and monitoring implemented within the project framework as well as recommendations covering the following aspects:
Georgia’s macroeconomic situation and main directions;
Analysis of Georgia’s state budget for 2009;
Analysis of Georgia’s state budget for 2010;
State’s foreign debt;
Budget Code of Georgia;
Budget through the prism of modern standards and best practice.
