Training in ‘Human Rights and Health Care Study Course’

On September 8-10, the Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF) hosted an international training course ‘Teaching Human Rights and Health Care in Higher Educational Institutions’.

With the support from the OSGF, experts have developed ‘Human Rights in Health Care’ curriculum.  In 2008, the program was introduced into the Faculty of Law of Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University for graduate students, the Georgian School of Public Administration for lawyers and the Public Health Faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University for graduate students.

The study course has been introduced to Georgia, Armenia, Macedonia, Moldova and Russia.

Representatives of higher educational institutions from Armenia, Moldova, Russia as well as experts from the USA attended the training course.
