How does Georgia succeed in meeting the goals of European Union Association Agenda

This morning, Open Society Georgia Foundation presented the assessment report of the first year of Georgia’s Implementation of the Association Agenda between the European Union and Georgia. The document covers the period from September 1, 2014, through September 1, 2015. It looks at progress and opportunities in the political sphere including the judiciary, anti-corruption, administrative and civil service reform, the fight against torture and ill-treatment, labor rights and standards, equal treatment, and children’s rights.

The main audience of this report is the relevant state agencies in Georgia, EU institutions and other members of the international community, and civil society organizations in Georgia as well as in the European Union.

In spring 2015, OSGF prepared policy briefs assessing the half year of implementation of political part of the agreement. The policy briefs were presented in Riga in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Riga Summit.
